Lockwood Golf Links

Bordered by the Intracoastal Waterway and Lockwood Folly River, this course has tight unforgiving fairways. Water comes into play on twelve of the 18 holes. Lockwood has large Tifdwarf greens and no fairways run parellel with each other. You feel as though you have the course to yourself.

Between hole #9 and #10 you can get a bit to eat or refreshments at the snack stand on the course. The clubhouse employees and the ranger made you feel most welcome.

From the white tees, this course is 6,167 yards, is rated 70.8, and has a 128 slope. Lockwood was a course that Brunswick Plantation had booked for us.

We definitely recommend playing Lockwood.

After golf we tried Joe's Barbeque nearby just off of Highway 17. For less than-$14.00 two can get a great meal and friendly service.
