Golf Course Location-York Country Club is located in the northwest part of York, Nebraska. From Interstate 80 turn north on Highway 81. At 2 1/2 miles turn west or left on W. Nobes Rd to Hutchins Ave. On Hutchins turn right at Elm St. then turn left and .2 mile to the beautiful clubhouse on your right.

Golf Course Description-York Country Club is a 18 hole course. The course is hilly and has water on 2/3 of all the holes. The front nine holes have wide tree lined fairways. The second nine are approximately ten years old and provide some very scenic views and many challenging golf shots.

York Country Club measures 5654 from the whites, 5975 from the blues and 5100 from the red tees. It is a par 70 for men and par 76 for women.

Course Conditions-Our tee time was 4:00 on a Friday and we were able to tee off 1/2 hour early. The course was in fair condition. The greens were quick.

One of the great benefits of traveling and golfing is getting paired up with other golfers. We enjoyed our round of golf at York Country Club with Craig.

Uniqueness of this course-Hole #17 a 269 yard par 4. There is an tree in the middle of the fairway. Plus this tree is located on a island that is also in the middle of the fairway just less than 100 yards from the hole. This makes for a tricky tee shot and a tough approach.
