Whitetail Run is located just south of Fremont, Nebraska on Highway 77 then two miles west on an oil road. This road is located just north of the Valley View Golf Course. You could easily play both courses in one day.

This nine hole course is very well maintained. The greens at Whitetail are small with crowned edges. The greens were hard and fast. If you landed on, your ball would not stick. The fairways are narrow with nearly no rough. On most holes if your shot is off ever so slightly you are looking in the woods for your ball.

Whitetail is a short privately owned nine hole course. The course measures 4,700 from the red tees. From the white tees the course measures 4,922 yards for 18 holes. The slope is 102 and the rating is 63.4. There are two long par threes. One measures 282 yards the other is 182 yards. The course is a par 34 for men and par 36 for women. The number 8 hole is the toughest. For a dogleg 484 yard par 5 you would think it shouldn't be that tough. Just try it... I dare you!!!

Whitetail Run is a picturesque course with many trees. The course layout is really tight where most all greens are just next to the tee boxes.

The uniquenesses of Whitetail Run is the club house is a log cabin, the deer crossing sign near hole 7 tee box, and the view of the Platte River from a cliff overhead on the 8 tee box.

If you are sure of your game and aren't hitting the ball wildly...you will enjoy Whitetail Run.
