We teed off at 7:06 A.M. and were the first party on the course. We enjoyed a very relaxing round of golf.

There are five tee boxes at the The Republic. They measure from 7,007 from the back tees to 4,683 at the front tees. The USGA Course and Slope Ratings are 73.5/131 from the back tees to 66.9/109 from the front tees.

Hole #6 a par five is the hardest hole. It measures 624 years from the back tees and 524 from the Stone Tees. We found that hole #15 a par five the most difficult.

Golf Course Location-The Republic Golf Club is just 10 minutes from downtown San Antonio, Texas.

Course Conditions-The Republic is in excellent shape. From tee to green we found The Republic was marvelously maintained.

Uniqueness of this course-The uniqueness of The Republic is the friendly service and relaxation that it provides a Snowbird away from the sub-zero winter weather.

Other Local Attractions- Downtown San Antonio. The Riverwalk is a "must see". The San Antonio Missions are just a short drive from downtown San Antonio and a very short drive from The Republic. Of course you can not leave San Antonio without seeing the Alamo.
