On May 21, 1998, at 8:00 A.M. we golfed Pacific Springs. Omaha had just received 1/2 inch of rain within a very short amount of time earlier that morning. It was foggy during our round of golf... so no pictures!

Pacific Springs opened in July 1996 and this course is in great shape. The fairways and greens are filled in great. There are lots of new homes going up around the course. Pacific Springs is a 18 hole course. There is a 18 hole grass putting course available if you want to work on your putting only.

There are five par threes on this par 70 course. We called Monday morning for a tee time and got the tee time we wanted. The staff was most helpful. You play over a stream that runs through the course on three holes. The greens are large and flag placement made putts most tricky. If you compete against your wife while playing, she will have an advantage on this course. The course measures 5,557 yards from the white tees and 4,297 yards on the red tees. Several of the tee off boxes are on hilltops. The wind was a large factor during our morning of golf at Pacific Springs. This course has many hills and narrow fairways. The roughs are very thick and you will definitely want to stay in the fairway.

Pacific Springs has easy access. It is located just off of 168th and Dodge between Dodge and Pacific Avenue in Omaha, The rates are very competitive.
