Indian Meadows Public Golf Course
North Platte Nebraska

All-In-One Golf Source Review:
Golf Course Description-This nine hole public course is flat and has water that comes into play on three holes. The fairways are tree lined and homes can come into play on holes #1 and #4 if your drive is wild.
I called at 1:00 PM for a tee time and was told, "no tee time is required, come on out!" Three hours later I got on with no waiting. A thanks to Kari and Deb for the water. With walking and 90+ degree and with no canteens on the course...the drink was much appreciated.
Indian Meadows measures 6188 from the white tees and 5198 from the reds. With the exception of the water on holes #6, #7 and #8 there is very little that can get you into trouble on this course. The most difficult hole is #1. It is a 390 par 4. It is a slight dogleg to the right. I found hole #8, a 512 par 5 as the most difficult. Your tee shot is over water and your second shot "flirts" with the creek running through.
Course Conditions-Indian Meadows greens were slow. The roughs were not penalizing. The yardages were well marked.
Uniqueness of this course-The #8 par five has a tree in the middle of the fairway about 50 yards out. It makes that approach shot "a thinker".
