Golf Course Location-Bay Hills Golf Course at Buccaneer Bay is located south of Omaha on Highway 75 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

Golf Course Description -Bay Hills is a 18 hole public golf course. I would advise you to take your "A" game to Bay Hills....and.... if you can't see it....there is probably trouble. It reminds me of a mountain course that we had played in North Carolina.

Before we even left the pro shop we were told to only hit the ball as far as you can see. We were glad that we were guided through Bay Hills with a member. Bay Hills is a tough one!

The greens are quite large. The fairways all seems to slant one way or the other. Hole #5 is the #1 handicap hole. It is is a 364 yard par four (from the whites). The green is a tiered kidney shaped demonic part of the world.

The course Rating from the blue is 72.5, white 70.9 and red 71.0. The Slope is blue 135, white 131, and red 113. Bay Hills measures 6368 from the blues, 5014 from the whites and 4923 from the reds.

Course Conditions-The course was showing some wear from the traffic. The greens were fast and the breaks were very hard to read.

I would like to return to Bay Hills again probably earlier in the golf season and see if I learned anything from my first beating.

Uniqueness of this course -The blind shots...on four of the holes you must wait for the group in front to appear on far side of valley before hitting and on several holes the greens are elevated and again more blind shots.

We were able to use our Golfing Green Card at Bay Hills on the weekend. We called a day before and booked a tee time.
