All-In-One Golf Source Review

We teed off at 8:00 A.M. on a very foggy day. The Bandit was in true form. At the turn we were at least 6 balls short. The front nine has water on five holes. You must give each tee shot some thought. The back nine has water on 8 holes. Hole #11 Pecan Pie was the easiest hole on the course and the only one on the back nine with no water.
There are five tee boxes at The Bandit. The tees measure from 6,928 from the back tees to 4,468 from the front tees. The USGA Course and Slope Ratings are 72.7/130 from the back tees to 66.3/115 from the front tees.
Each hole title is enough to describe what it is like at The Bandit. From hole #1 Blind Date, #2 Too Much-Too Soon, #3 Make Hay, #4 Spanish Dagger, #5 Courage Pass, #6 Redan, #7 Lone Star, #8 Sunset, # 9 Pinnacle, #10 R.I.P, #11 Pecan Pie, #12 Bandit Point, #13 Lake Breeze, #14 The Bandit, #15 Blame Lu, #16 Sunrise, #17 Stonewall, through #18 a very tough closing hole Long Creek.
The staff at The Bandit was very friendly. From the starter to the clubhouse staff, we found the customer service to be tip-top. We so enjoyed our round at The Bandit we decided to book a tee time for the next day at The Bandit's sister course, The Republic, the staff was very helpful and called The Republic for us and booked our tee time as requested for early the next morning.
Golf Course Location-The Bandit Golf Club is located off of Interstate 35 in New Braunfel, Texas. It is just a 30 minute drive from downtown San Antonio, Texas.
Course Conditions-The Bandit was in excellent shape. The greens were very fast. From the fairways and tee boxes to the greens, The Bandit was class A and wonderfully maintained.
Uniqueness of this course-The uniqueness of The Bandit is just that.....it steals balls from you. You need to be "on guard" at each turn. Or before you know it you will be back in the clubhouse for more balls.
Other Local Attractions- Downtown San Antonio. The Riverwalk is a "must see". The San Antonio Missions, Mission San Juan, Mission Espada, Mission San Jose, Mission Concepcion are just a short drive from downtown San Antonio and are four Spanish frontier missions built in the 17th century. And of course you can not leave San Antonio without seeing the Alamo.
